All UCF Performance 6.7L long blocks have had the following remanufacturing operations completed:

  • Completely disassembled, thoroughly cleaned in our hot acid jetwash
  • Crankshaft is magnafluxed for cracks
  • Crankshaft is measured and polished
  • Block is bored .020 over
  • Block is torque plated for honing for proper cylinder distortion
  • Honing is performed on a state of the art Rottler® HP7A Diamond Smart Hone
  • Resurface the fire deck of the block with squaring fixture
  • Check line bore and hone if necessary
  • Oil galley plugs tapped and replaced w/ threaded plugs to prevent leaks
  • Colt Cams® Stage 2 Performance Camshaft
  • New Ford® lifter assemblies
  • New Mahle® pistons
  • Machine top of pistons to maintain proper piston protrusion
  • Piston tops coated with thermal barrier
  • Piston skirts coated with dry film lubricant
  • Second piston rings converted to gapless to minimize blowby
  • R&R/Wagler® Billet Steel Connecting Rods
  • Install Clevite® H-Series Rod-Bearings and Main-Bearings
  • Camshaft and crankshaft gears welded
  • Rotating assembly is balanced to maximize durability and performance
  • Victor Reinz® Gaskets and Seals
  • ARP® 2000 Head Studs
  • New Ford front cover, water pump, oil pump, oil cooler, steel lower oil pan
  • Hand assembled with proper clearances

Cylinder heads have had the following remanufacturing operations completed:

  • Completely disassembled, thoroughly cleaned in our hot acid jet wash
  • Cooling system pressure tested
  • Valve guides, seats, valves, springs, retainers, and keepers inspected and replaced as necessary
  • All exhaust valves replaced in early 2011 heads
  • Resurface the fire deck
  • O-Ring grooves machined into deck
  • Multi angle performance valve job with 5-7 angles and radius cut for improved flow
  • Porting concentrating on the bowl and seat area of the ports yielding significant gains
  • Exhaust ports matched to gaskets
  • Intake airflow improvements typically gains 17-60+% below .500" lift
  • Exhaust airflow improvements typically gains 18-30% below .500" lift
  • Modified to work well with factory and performance cams
  • Lowers EGTs, Lowers required boost; Increases Efficiency and Power
  • Set spring pressure, spring height, stem height, and valve recession
  • New Ford® valve stem seals installed and assemble head
  • O-Ring wire installed and prepared for shipping
